@zeldman la la la la - i am a passenger… Already feeling much better here at work w/o even listening to the song just thinking about it

WebStandards TWOOSH.

@meyerweb Use <label> also on type=”text”? OS UI is only using this for radios and checkboxes, so that is what sets user expectations.

via Twitter Web Client in reply to meyerweb

@jkottke this totally depends on the explanation ;-) Sometimes the explanations are far better than the jokes.

joining @Blackteam because it goes nicely with my BlackBook

@zeldman You only get that because you are a Superstar ;-) Us mere mortals never get breakfast from clients. Maybe a cup of coffee.

@gruber Just listening to the talkshow. My guess is iPhone Demo Versions could work like Rental Movies. After some days, poof — gone.

There is a reason God didn’t invent InputManagers ;-)

Apologies: It isn’t Safari that is broken. Safari Stand caused the problems. Trashing it fixed it. Halelujah! @adamengst

via Twitter Web Client

Now how can i downgrade to Safari 3.0. I guess i can’t, can i?

via Twitter Web Client

@adamengst I see you just wrote about Safari 3.1. In case you want to know: almost unusable for me. Bookmarklets and many sites don’t work..

via Twitter Web Client in reply to adamengst

Safari 3.1 is UNUSABLE. None of my bookmarklets work and a lot of javasript based links on websites i use regularily don’t work either. Grrr

I believe to not have seen any slower updaters than Adobe’s. 200MB OSX updates are zippy compared to those and i am not talking about the DL

Installing CS3 Suite for the 2nd time since AcrobatPro would crash on launch. Install takes forever and then the never ending updates…

via Twitter Web Client

@Twitterrific Why not make the resize control a standard one like Safari now has in Textfields. Might be more obvious to users ;-)

via Twitter Web Client in reply to Twitterrific

@Twitterrific yes, thus an API extension is needed. Twitter knows who the sender is and also the recipients settings and could reply accord.

via Twitter Web Client in reply to Twitterrific

@Twitterrific please convince twitter to modify the API, so a person sending an @reply will know wether it makes it to the recipients eyes.

via Twitter Web Client in reply to Twitterrific

@bbum totally silly that is. Allthough, the wording in the Letter from Apple could have been better to avoid the confusion.

via Twitter Web Client in reply to bbum

@danielpunkass I also got one on Friday (black) and i am not even a 1st-time user. Love it. Wouldn’t trade for an Air.

Migration Assistant just gave me the longest 6 Minutes of my life. They lasted an hour and a half. Now BlackBook FTW!

via Twitter Web Client

@DericHorn I had these Dates down from the Moscone Calendar already ;-) Always good to announce early so europeans can get cheaper flights.

via Twitter Web Client in reply to DericHorn

@adamengst Adam, why would you link to these spammers in twitter? ;-) Don’t reward them.

via Twitter Web Client in reply to adamengst

Oh shoot, the iPhone SDK is Intel only. Dang. I only own PPC macs.

via Twitter Web Client

developer.apple.com instantly downed

via Twitter Web Client

@danielpunkass and don’t forget, that creditCard and processing fees could add up to almost 10% too.

via Twitter Web Client in reply to danielpunkass

So the Apple Event apparently crashed twitter again. There you see what 5% marketshare can do… How come, Ars is still up? What, no Rails?

via Twitter Web Client

@vpieters You know how the US uses french words ;-) An Entree is their Main Course , so why not make petit = large.

via Twitter Web Client in reply to vpieters

@danielpunkass But having that feature in ME could make us totaly independant of the backend weblog software used. Think about that…

via Twitter Web Client in reply to danielpunkass

@danielpunkass Thaks. Found the plist file - good to know. For now, I better stay out of there and wait for an eventual update :-)

via Twitter Web Client in reply to danielpunkass

@adamengst and it wouldn’t backup any media files (images and such) either anyways. Would have been nice though.

via Twitter Web Client in reply to adamengst

@adamengst any good weblog software shouldn’t lock you in and offer a “Export” feature or such.

via Twitter Web Client in reply to adamengst

@adamengst load possibly depends on weblog software used. MarsEdit Help states: MarsEdit is not intended as backup software for weblogs ;-)

via Twitter Web Client in reply to adamengst

@adamengst MarsEdit: Settings->System tab->Number of posts to download

via Twitter Web Client in reply to adamengst

@danielpunkass and related to Engst’s Q, can MarsEdit somehow get all existing images from my server into its Media Manager?

via Twitter Web Client in reply to danielpunkass

@adamengst Oh yes, and make that Tablet-reader a replacement for the missing 12” PowerBook and i’ll order it instantly.
