Due to McAfee not releasing DAT Files for Virex Egines older than 4400 anymore, and engine 4400 and up having lost the DeMime command line option, i have decided to not invest any more time in keeping CGVirusscan alive.
Everyone on the CGVirusscan list agreed.
Since there is ClamAV, which is a perfect Anti Virus Solution, this shouldn't leave anyone on a Mac without a decent AV Solution.
It's been a fun ride but I guess it's time to say good bye ;-)
After all cgvirusscan wasn't my baby anyway and it was almost dead already
before I reanimated it...
So: CGVirusscan is dead -- long live ClamAV.
So we recently attended yet another "Sommerfest" organised by WEKA Verlag (we're placing ADs in their magazines) in Munich and since Munich is a 2 and a half hour drive from where we live, we decided to stay a day longer and have some fun. After having a Weißwurst Breakfast at the Viktualienmarkt, we attended a georgeous exhibition in the Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich. It was the Frei Otto exhibition - you know - the Guy who developed the funny tent like roofs for the 1972 Olympics in Munich.
Besides all the fascinating Frei Otto concepts you could see, i was blown away by - what i discovered on second sight - were various multimedia shows running off some Mac Minis hanging on a wall including Apple Cinema Displays and all... Nice use of a Mini heh?
Excuse the quality of the images, but they were taken with a Nokia 6630 Cellphone.
Just posted a new album - Patterns - with some closeup shots i did on a recent trip to Bali in March 2005. There's always so much beautiful details to see with their old teak wood furniture, their gifted craftsmanship and the very different architecture.
They can build things very easily because of the climate and the architects not having to worry about the cold. You can simply build something in your backyard, put some furniture in there and just stick a rooftop on it. Forget about walls and windows...
